Lower Woodford Class - Year 1 - Miss NaisH

Welcome to Year 1

I am Miss Naish, your class teacher. We have lots of exciting and fun learning ahead of us this term. 

This year we are supported by the wonderful Mrs  Evison, Miss Lee and Mrs Kingston-Jones. 

In Summer term we have PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please remember your PE kits. 

Please do come and chat to me after pick up or arrange a time to talk if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your support with our 3D shape models. We enjoyed creating a gallery for Lake class and sharing our models with each other and Lake. The class are now fantastic at recognising and naming 3D shapes. Here are a few pictures:

In Spring term in Art we practised drawing lines carefully, thinking about the direction, thickness and shape. We also learnt how to use pastels and experimented with blending colours. We hope you enjoy looking at our final pieces inspired by our visit to the Hawk Conservancy.
