Mission Statement
.
Towards Christian
life, learning and love.
‘And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples.”
John 34-35
Our school is committed to creating an ethos in which children can grow together towards Christian life, learning and love.
Our rich, creative curriculum is the bedrock of our learning community, which is a place where pupils can flourish and discover ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10.10)
As an academy we have the freedom to develop our own curriculum, combining national objectives with our own, tailor made, provision. This, combined with our teaching and subject expertise, ensures a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum, preparing our pupils for the future. ‘Inside and outside of the classroom, we link skills meaningfully to create a vibrant programme of learning.’
Forgiveness, friendship, courage, humility, justice, truthfulness, creativity, peace, hope, compassion, thankfulness, trust.
